releasing my inner decorator
I spent this morning looking at paint samples at Bunnings. How does anyone ever choose! Have also been obsessively googling decorative paint finishes and stenciling. I have some great ideas. My flat has 6 distinct areas/rooms. There is an entry room, the living area, the kitchen, the hallway/hall closet, bathroom, bedroom and the so called study.
I plan to make the entry room and the hallway/closet quite colourful with stencil patterns on the walls and full panels on both the closet doors. It’s a full sized double closet. This site has art that shows the kind of feel I want to create. www.annachandler.com.au. In the kitchen and living area, I will keep the colours softer because they are kind of connected. The bedroom, bathroom and study are all separate so I could use the same colour palette, but in different combinations in each room.
